Over the past year it seems we have lost a fair few of the long time property owners here on Norway Lake.
We will be creating an In Memorial page to honour those who have left the physical world.
If you would like to honour a former cottager/owner please email one of the executive members with the name and obituary link of your loved one along with your favourite photo of your recently departed at Norway Lake and tell us about the picture.
We would love to honour the memory of your loved one with our community of friends and family here at the lake.
Vicky Johnson, a long time Norway lake cottager passed away in February 2021. She came to Norway Lake as a teenager in the late 1950’s and spent most summers on the lake with family until she and her husband built their own cottage at the end of Southside Way in the 1970’s. This has expanded to three cottages now where her grandchildren continue to share the same lake experience. The photo (with Vicky on the right with her sister Diane) was taken from the dock at 40 Winding Lane https://ottawacitizen.remembering.ca/obituary/vicky-johnson-1081710103
